♦ Tell Senator Richard Pan (916-651-4006) to vote no on SCR 35, yet another attempt to silence students who are challenging Israel’s violations of international law and human rights. Sign letter of opposition. Pan voted for the bill at the CA Senate Education Committee hearing 4/29/15, so he needs to be lobbied to vote no when it comes to the Senate floor.
♦ Tell Congress 202-224-3121 to vote against AIPAC-sponsored amendments to HR 825 that attempt to restrict the use of boycott, divestment or sanctions (BDS) to pressure Israel to end its violations of international law and human rights. BDS is a non-violent tool that worked to end apartheid in South Africa and can work to end Israel’s abuses.
♦ Tell your Senators and Congressional Representatives, 202-224-3121: NO more money for Israel, oppose H.R. 1915 that would give Israel $286 million ABOVE the over $8 million per day it already it gets from American taxpayers. Click for more info.
